Lady Colonels Stomp The Lady Trojans

The Lady Colonels defeated the Lady Trojans during their second matchup of the season at Colonel Gym. The final score was 55-19. When asked what went well for the team during the game, A’Tylia Green says, “I think we shot the gaps well, played defense, and shot the ball well.” The scorers for the Lady Colonels were Addy Gish with 12 points, A’Tylia Green and Brooklyn Gibson both with 11 points each, Rashia Cansler with 9, Allyson Rideout with 6, Anna Kemp, Azayah Hall, and JaNyla Locher all with 2 points each. They are currently 3-0 in the district, with another big district game coming up against Union County on Friday night at Union County. That will be a doubleheader, with the girls playing first at 6:00 and the boys following.
