Sports Journalism: New Class for 2023-24!

Class of 2024 and 2025, this class is for you whether you are brand new or experienced at journalism. We will be covering as many HCHS sporting events as we can. Coverage will include (not be limited to) game photos, live streaming, written articles, and special media events for each season.

Here’s the official description:

This class will develop student communication skills through the journalism arts. Through that development, students will have opportunities to be involved in reporting on school sporting events through blogging and social media, creating media guides for each sport season (fall, winter, and spring), producing and hosting a sports media day at the beginning of each season, and partnering with local media outlets such as WSON.
