Senior Night for the Colonels versus Hopkinsville started off strongly with a goal from Jack Gentry only 10 minutes in. Just a minute later, Carson Weiss trapped the corner and slid to send the ball into the net, making the score 2-0 in favor of the Colonels. About 5 minutes later, another senior Colonel, Tage Vekseth-Hahn, Henderson County's foreign exchange student from Norway, sent an assist from the wing to another Jack Gentry goal. Another 11 minutes later, Cole Branson stole the ball from the wing and passed it off to Cameron Vick, who put it away to give the Colonels a 4-0 lead. Both Cole Branson and Carson Weiss went on to score 2 goals each during last night's Senior Night. Gage Beck also scored a goal in the second half. The game ended with a header from the edge of the box by Carson Weiss, resulting in yet another clean sheet for Carsen Emmick and Aaden Bugg. Henderson put on a scoring clinic to end up with a 10-0 win over Hopkinsville.
