They Came. They Saur. They Conquered.

Have you ever seen a dinosaur, better yet, one running a race? On August 20, over 200 people participated in a T-Rex World Championship, where they ran 100 yards racing to the finish line in inflatable T-Rex costumes. The race was in Auburn, Washington at Emerald Downs that Sunday afternoon. Ocean Kim from Hawaii, known as Boto Rex contestant number 5, took first place with a photo-ending finish. Not even a second later, contestant number 7, Colton Winegar from Idaho, known as Deno the Dino, came in second, and contestant number 3, Seth Hirschi from Washington, known as Rex Ray Machine, came in third. Hoda Kotb from the Today Show stated, “They started a team building exercise for the pest control company in 2017. Now they’re a full-blown event.” People came from all over the country to be involved in this event, which certainly didn’t fail to entertain. To watch the race, please visit this link.
